As a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) certified by the state of California, I conduct independent psychological evaluations for workers’ compensation cases involving mental health conditions. My role is to provide clear, impartial opinions in cases where there may be questions about psychological injury, disability, causation, or readiness to return to work. I bring to this work the same care, clinical rigor, and attention to detail that guide my broader forensic practice.

In QME cases, I assess a broad range of psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, adjustment disorders, and attention-related challenges. I also utilize standardized measures to assist in assessing symptom validity and differential diagnosis. My evaluations aim to distinguish between work-related and pre-existing factors, address apportionment when relevant, and clarify readiness to return to work or the need for accommodations.

In my QME evaluations, I strive to ensure that each report is thorough, timely, and aligned with current legal and medical standards. I understand that attorneys and claims administrators are looking for evaluations that are not only accurate but also clearly reasoned and well-organized. I take pride in producing reports that are clinically grounded and legally useful, offering objective analysis and practical recommendations when appropriate.
